Ventilation

OXYGEN BALANCE - CARBON DIOXIDE. The developing chicks manifest remarkable oxygen requirements, eliminating carbon dioxide. And because only with a proper aeration of all eggs a uniform temperature and humidity is achieved. The optimal value should be 0.5 to 0.8% for Carbon dioxide and 21% for Oxygen.

During incubation the egg absorbs oxygen and removes carbon dioxide in large quantities. Proper reventilation is necessary to remove the water that produces the egg by transpiration, renew vital oxygen for respiration of the embryo and remove CO2.

The temperature of the air entering the incubator has to be always below 28 ° C.
