MashUp

MashUp is the technology used to merge different public or private data, content, applications, networks or wireless communication infrastructures, devices and embedded systems from different owners, suppliers or providers in order to integrate, create or enable a new information and communication service.

The basic concept behind MashUp technologies is to create an information space where individuals and organizations gain free and simplified access to an integrated open base of information services, contents, platforms and infrastructures and are free to integrate and modify them. The entire resource environment continually evolves. Users and resource providers enhance and upgrade the system while satisfying their own needs.
