Target groups

The target groups are school teachers with background in engineering and informatics who intend to use remote labs in the learning process.

Preliminary requirements

In order to follow the course the school teacher is expected to have a basic knowledge about Internet technologies. For preparing them selfs before starting this modules teachers with low background should have a look on the latest trends in education, make a course about how to use internet connection and some electronics depending on their further interest.

Required minimum hours for finishing the course

10 hours is the minimum number of hours for finishing the theoretical part of Remote Labs in Education training course. The course includes basic information, self-evaluation or reflection questions, and practical assignment in form of final project. The final project is an integration of the concept of remote laboratories into secondary school STEM curriculum. For this purposes 6 learning modules are developed and provided by the OLAREX consortium. The learning modules that teachers can practice during their training are the following:

Black body radiation of common light sources (Physics /Optics)

Farm Experiment: From an egg to a baby chick, step by step (Biology)

Working as a computer – Logic gates (Technology & Mathematics)

Analog circuits measurements (Physics)

How does the current flow? (Physics)

Easy Java Simulation for Phys&Sports
