Sensors

The three sensors which are used to measure the radiation are the following:

a.       Two photodiode sensors

                                                               i.      S132C: λ= 700nm – 1800 nm

                                                             ii.      S130VC: λ= 200nm – 1100 nm

b.      One thermal sensor

                                                               i.      S310C: λ=190nm – 25μm

In Figure 9 is represented the spectra’s from different sources. To different temperature of the sources the spectrum is changing in terms of wavelength and intensity.

The wavelengths ranges of the sensors are illustrated also in Figure 9 and indicate sensitivity of the sensors. Compared with the spectrum of electromagnetic waves, one of the photodiode sensors detect the radiation which has the wavelength rage more into the visible region and into the near-infrared region. The second sensor has a wavelength range more into the far-infrared region. The thermal sensor detects the radiation which has a largest wavelength range. This wavelength range consists of the regions of spectrum like: near ultraviolet, visible light, near infrared and the far infrared.
