Methodology

The methodology has to be participative and interactive among the different existing levels of work, having into account that society demands bigger collaboration and implication from working groups to enhance the development of an activity.  For that, all of the students have to know the objectives placed in this experience. They have to be familiarized with it in order to optimize the project development. With sharing and searching for information students will attend the classroom with knowledge that is necessary for their future lab work.

Teamwork allows optimizing the use of resources. Hence, less time is demanded to undertake the assignments.

This methodology allows reducing the misuse of equipment. Besides, a comparison between mathematical models against real experiments can be performed. Since mathematical models are obtained by simplifying the real behaviour (sometimes giving place to significantly different behaviours) the students have a chance to compare both behaviours. They can extract conclusions about the importance of the experiment carried out.

The methodological aspects will help students in their future professional lifes.  The students acquire a set of horizontal skills by a use current computing tools. Although it is out of the scope of the current lab activity it will help them in future at many work areas.

Additionally, the experiment repetition allows the students execute it in a trustworthy manner. The conditions upon which they develope and reproduce the experiment are the same with those that were developed during other previous experiments. All of it allows developing diverse experiments in a simultaneous manner with all the remote lab resources equipped with, and allowing to each work group to undertake distinct or identical experiments without producing any interference with the groups simultaneously connected to the experiment. Besides the clear advantage in time investment, collaborative processes are fostered "brainstorming", since all students undertake their experiments and can provide their perceptions of what occurred there.
