“ICT and museums – theoretical background/base”
The
21st century is the age of ICT. No one can deny this fact. All
spheres of our everyday life and all aspects of our professional activities are
connected of these technologies. It’s hardly to escape from them – they are
everywhere and in everything. From time to time it is very useful, from time to
time – boring, but this is the future. To be acquainted with ICT – means to be
contemporary person. The opposite means – you are out of date and without
perspective. It sounds very sad, but is true. So, everyone who wants to be
active – should accept the need of ICT, more over – should be ready to learn
and to use them adequately.
Of
course, not every professional needs high ICT qualification, but at least
starter level is mandatory. Because the main form of contemporary segregation
is the usage of ICT. May be people do
not need ICT to be happy, but for sure – they all need them to have job and
perspective.
