Blackbody
In physics of blackbody is considered
an ideal system which has fulfilled the following properties:
·
Any surface
cannot emit more energy like a blackbody in case of fixed parameters
(temperature and wavelength).
·
The intensities
of the various wavelengths of energy emitted by a black body depend only on its
temperature. At normal temperature, a blackbody does not reflect any light and
thus appears black totally.
·
A blackbody
system absorbs the radiation of all incident wavelengths which are falling on
its surface.
In Figure 2 can be seen a
black box which can be considered to be a blackbody system.

Since it is a theoretical model and any surface cannot perform the properties of a perfect blackbody we may find in reality only
"Almost perfect black bodies".
